Every week: Get the upholstery tool on the vacuum and get to work on fabric lampshades. If you can adjust the suction, do it on a gentle setting.
Cleaning the lampshade: You can dab at stains with some washing-up liquid dissolved in warm water, but exercise extreme caution. You could make things worse – watermarks, glue unsticking fabric etc. Use a small sponge that has been wrung out so it’s almost dry and test a tiny area first.
Always check manufacturer’s instructions first. Always try a test patch first. If you are unsure as to whether the item you are cleaning is suitable for our instructions, take professional cleaning advice first.
